AS A MUM TO BEAU (9) AND PARKER (6) I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND TIME FOR YOURSELF TO DO ANYTHING, LET ALONE EXERCISE. HOWEVER, IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR US TO KEEP MOVING FOR OUR MINDS AND TO MAKE SURE WE DON’T LOSE OURSELVES TO MOTHERHOOD.
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I PUNISHED MY BODY THROUGH EXERCISE, SPENDING HOURS ON THE CROSS TRAINER, UN-HEALTHILY COUNTED CALORIES AND RESTRICTED MY FOOD INTAKE, AS I STRUGGLED WITH BODY IMAGE AND PERIODS OF DISORDERED EATING. FINDING STRENGTH TRAINING HAS TRANSFORMED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND I AM NOW PASSIONATE ABOUT CREATING HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE HABITS THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME. i have completed individual and pairs hyrox races and have competed at crossfit competitions such as strength in depth at the nec.
